Warm in the shadows

I love witnessing jam sessions, and, I hope to maybe even take part some day, other than just photographing. For now, though, I'm content with these pictures from last night.

A Distinctive Sound

Seriously, I am giggling to myself like crazy right now. There was a pair of socks on the kitchen table (gross), and a pair of shorts in the music room. It only seemed logical to set them up at the drum kit as if an invisible dude was sitting there.

Animals in the Dark

I have this other blog for doodles that I make. It seems, though, that whenever I post something, these weirdo spam-bots leave comments in characters that I CANNOT UNDERSTAND! I haven't really drawn anything in awhile, but, did today.. and since I have completed something that I'm proud of, I'm going to post it here. Nanners.

Bam-a-lam. Hello, owl, you are somewhat evil looking! I used a fineliner marker, pencil, and a sharpie. I'm surprised the smell of the sharpie didn't give me a high.

There's a bird chirping really loudly outside. Guh.

Oh, and to add some photography. My one roommate and I made some changes to the music room. We put up the backdrop that was made for Trap Tiger's CD release show on the one wall.

My roommate is starting to work on some solo stuff; I get to do his photography (of course).

Don't let the fourth photo fool you; he plays all the instruments on his solo stuff. 

He pretends to be annoyed by my constant photographing of nearly anything, but he's secretly excited that he has so many cool photos of himself.

White Light

I was urging Cari to post some photos of her new home, so, I figured I'd post some photos of my home, too.

Basically, they're the most used rooms. The first two are part of the kitchen, next two are of our reading room.. I guess you could call it.. and last is the music room. I have an entire set of photos on flickr of stuff in and around the house.

Last time here

It poured for about 15, 20 minutes today. It was absolutely amazing. Then, the sun came out and was equally amazing.

You know, stuff.

Howlin' for you

The piano in the house has finally been tuned. The top part of it is off so my roommate could record; I figured it looked cool. My mom's dog, Daly, came by for a visit on Sunday. Then I saw some weirdo in the water at Victoria Park. That water is absolutely disgusting.
